## Start with the right local source

Use New York OCM’s dispensary verification list or Buy Legal map to match the business name and exact address. The state directory includes stores in several New York City boroughs as well as towns outside the city; filter by the location you intend to visit. Open the [New York City catalogue](/weed/united-states/new-york/new-york) to compare addresses. Use the map or nearest-venues option for the journey, then check the current information for the premises you selected.

## Before setting off

Open the listing, compare its address with OCM, then ask the store about current hours, ID requirements and the products or services you want. A catalogue rating is not licence verification.

- Match the exact address, not only the business name.
- Check the opening hours for the day of the visit.
- Contact the venue if an access condition or the listed service is unclear.

## Does a Queens address have to say New York?

Read the street address and borough information in the official entry. Do not discard a relevant store just because its postal city label differs from a Manhattan label.

## If the information does not match

Save the official source and the venue’s reply. Use the listing’s correction option for an incorrect address or hours. Read the local purchase and consumption dimensions separately; this visit guide helps you choose and verify a next step, while the linked rules explain its conditions.
